The Hennepin/Lyndale Redesign Charrette was a great success. This event marked the beginning of a new partnership between the Loring Park and Lowry Hill neighborhoods. Our neighborhoods will work to encourage short term steps to help establish a safe and comfortable pedestrian realm along the Hennepin - Lyndale corridor. We will also work to nurture a long term vision of a transformed corridor. With a vision that befits the great institutions and beautiful architecture that surround it this corridor has the potential to re-establish its place as one of Minnesota's great civic spaces.
